Shenandoah Head Start children spend time at Garden View.

Garden View holds annual Ice Cream Social.  Proceeds go to scholarship fund.

Dennis DeWild, Administrator, scoops homemade ice cream while some of our guests look over the homemade desserts.

Resident Beth Anderson and her sister and niece enjoyed the food and the time visiting.

Garden View employees CNAs Olivia Livengood, Camron Gilbert, and Molly Livengood helped serve desserts.  Thanks for the help, girls!

Dorothy Von Arx was the winner of the afghan raffle.  She is pictured with Bonnie Ward, Staff Social Worker, who crocheted and donated the afghan.

 

 

Dennis DeWild, Administrator, recently presented Camron Gilbert with the Garden View Scholarship.  This $500 scholarship is given away annually to students (traditional and non-traditional) entering the healthcare field.  Employees regularly hold fundraisers throughout the year and resident families give memorials to fund the scholarship.  Congratulations, Camron!

 

Members of the Cornerstone Fellowship Church spent an afternoon with our residents playing bingo and giving manicures and pedicures.

Father Son Barbeque

 

Dennis DeWild, Administrator, hosted his annual Father-Son Barbeque.  Grilled hamburgers were served with baked beans, potato salad, chips and dessert.
